A critique is not about us telling you what is wrong, it is a conversation about colour, space, direction, composition, design, values, brushwork, focal points, areas of rest, balance, movement, proportion, story and a lot more.

Whether your painting style is representational, impressionistic, realistic or more abstract, the critique is about growth, fresh thinking and exciting ideas.

A Critique Membership gives you access to the Welcome & Critique Groups of artful:minds. There you can view past critiques for inspiration, have up to two paintings critiqued a month with feedback from professional artists and peers, and have conversations with other artists who are facing similar and different issues than yourself. With members in multiple countries, all critiques are over Zoom.

Attending the critique session is not mandatory, but highly recommended as it provides an opportunity for us to have a conversation and address any additional questions you may have.
